In 1971, TIM Hapert was founded by Piet van der Leegte Junior. He started in a small premises in Hapert, where he maintained tools for the metalworking industry. Five years later, the company moved to Nijverheidsweg, to a building that was constructed entirely under its own management.
In 1979, TIM Hapert became part of the VDL Groep. After relocating to Industrieweg, VDL TIM Hapert permanently established itself on Energieweg in Hapert in 1991.
In 2008, the offices and production floors on Energieweg were modernised and expanded.
In 2024, a new premises at the Kempisch Bedrijven Park was brought into use, meaning we have grown into a company with three locations.
